Building automation systems (BAS)

Outdoor air reset on boiler

Variable frequency drives (VFD)

These control systems manage and monitor a building’s equipment, allowing you to control and optimize energy efficiency from a single place.

A specific control feature that can be added to adjust boiler supply water temperature based on the current outdoor temperature. It provides more heat when it’s cold and less when it’s milder, resulting in lower energy use overall.

These electronic devices control the speed of pumps and fans in HVAC systems, reducing energy use and extending equipment life by allowing HVAC systems to run at partial loads when full capacity isn’t required.

Enhanced incentive

$0.50/m³

natural gas saved up to 50 percent of upgrade costs, up to a maximum of $100,000. Install and submit with required documentation by Oct. 31, 2025.

Building Automation Incentive
